We boarded the short 30 minute flight over from Ibiza to Barcelona on New Years eve, and enjoyed the midnight celebrations in Placa de Catalunya. On New Years day, after dropping our bags off at Barcelona El Prat airport, we headed by taxi to Row 14, based just off a motorway not far from the airport.
It’s a one of a kind unique venue. One of our big highlights of our summers for the past few years has been attending Elrow Barcelona during Sónar weekend. Elrow’s original home is quite simply one of the best venues we’ve ever visited, and is as close to anywhere you’ll find that has that Space Ibiza terrace vibe from yesteryear, with it’s own brilliant and bonkers personality thrown in for good measure.

On New Year’s day we arrived at peak time, around 4pm, with the party in full swing and busy. It was busy with people dressed in their most colourful outfits, all up for the party with a smile on their face where we enjoyed the sounds of Laurent Garnier. It was a great atmosphere. Brilliant production, visuals, artwork, confetti, colours, performers and DJs – Elrow at Row 14 is a must for any clubber’s trip to Barcelona.
